I have been a Volunteer Manager for an end of life agency for over 20 years. Many end of life care agencies can provide medical care, but are unable to provide one on one and housing. It is heartbreaking when there are people at end of life with no place to call home. Everyone deserves to have a warm, safe environment, especially someone who is in his/her final days.
